A new bill could bring more professional sports teams to Oklahoma.
House Bill 3959 was originally filed as a fund for future sports arenas.
But Majority Floor Leader Jon Echols, the author of the bill, reworked it to focus on attracting new teams.
"What the bill would do is create a quality jobs type incentive that there would be stability for both our current NBA franchise and any other franchise that would come to Oklahoma."
The bill still has to pass the House and Senate before it becomes law.
Even if it does, it will take years for other sports franchises to move to Oklahoma.
